Sino-US trade frictions are bound to have an great impact on import and export trade. CCPIT will convey the voice of import & export enterprises to the central government. In order to guide enterprises to actively respond to trade friction, CCPIT will solve the problem for enterprises throung different ways, like promoting the introduction of relevant policies, paying high attention to the tax reduction. In addition, enterprises should be confident when respond to trade frictions and actively participate in hearings and submission of product exclusions, director of CCPIT legal affairs department Zheng Wei said.

Chairmen of Foshan Chamber of Commerce for Importers & Exporters Yan Guoshan, secretary general of Foshan Association for the Development Promotion of Small and Medium Enterprise, secretary general of Chancheng district Chamber of Commerce for Importers & Exporters Ni Yin,secretary general of gaoming district Chamber of Commerce for Importers & Exporters Liang Riqiang, Chairmen of Foshan Purchasing Association Ouyang Linfeng and representatives of enterprises from the sectors of textile, ceramics, import and export trading that made active speeches in the seminar. In general, the new tariff list may have great impact on particular industries in Foshan while it has a small effect on some irreplaceable, high-quality and competitive products. But in the long term, if trade frictions continue to escalate, and the dollar exchange rate volatility intensifies, the impact is still difficult to predict. Chinese enterprises should take precautions against this situation, strengthen enterprises' transformation and upgrading, increasing the added value of products, and actively explore new markets such as "one belt and one road".

The enterprises spoke freely and fully reflected the situation of the front line of trade. The difficulties and suggestions which were raised at the meeting will surely be reflected to the government and relevant departments and it will become the foundation of  effective policies formulations.
