On the morning of August 9, 2018, With the theme of "the Pearl in Southern Xinjiang - glamorous Jiashi, the "2018 Guangdong Foshan Counterpart Support county - Jiashi Industry Investment Promotion meeting" was held in Foshan SESC. The meeting promoted four major industrial systems in Jiashi: copper & its downstream industries, textile & apparel, agricultural & sideline products deep-processing, and mechanical & machinery manufacturing. Jiashi official interpretated the polices of Financial Support, Land Preference, Employment Support and Special Support for Foreign Economy &Trade Development. This meeting extend the olive branch to more than 180 people who come from the sectors of textile, children's apparel, shoes, e-commerce and other industries. As one of the support units, CCPIT Foshan initiated members of the International Chamber of Commerce and members of FSCCIE to participate in it. President of CCPIT Foshan Mrs. Ma Xiangyu, vice president Mr. Liu Weijun and vice president Mr. Su Wei attended the meeting.

At the meeting, deputy director of the Standing Committee of the Foshan People's Congress, Mrs. Liu Shan said that the Foshan Municipal Party Committee and the Municipal Government attached great importance to counterpart support for Jiashi County , and take it as an important political task. To assist Jiashi enhance its development capacity, promote local economic and social development, Foshan will revolve around Jiashi's "strong industrial county"industial planning and deeply promote the industrial assistance.
8 projects confirm to launch in Jiashi. Project leader signed the contract at the meeting. Total investment for those projects reach 558 million yuan, covering the fields of electronic components assembly, watch accessories, textiles & apparel and biotechnology. It is expected to provide 16,000 jobs for Jiashi people. The Deputy Secretary of the Jiashi County Committee and the captain of the Foshan aid team, Mr.Liu Xiao said, after the project launch, it will certainly promote a new round of development in Jiashi and achieve a win-win situation with Foshan.
